CHERYL S. TUCK joined the firm
as a partner in March 2001. She had previously practiced law with the law firm of
Williamson & Lavecchia, L.C. in Richmond, Virginia and with the law firm of Shuttleworth,
Ruloff, Giordano, & Kahle, P.C., in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Since graduating from
University of Virginia, Cheryl has always served as a patient/client advocate. Cheryl
continues her client advocacy role as an attorney by representing clients in various legal
matters including, but not limited to: personal injury, medical negligence, podiatry
malpractice, domestic relations, legal malpractice, wills, trusts and estate planning,
business law, commercial law, collections, social security disability, employment law and
a variety of other legal matters. Cheryl is a member of the Virginia Bar Association,
Virginia Trial Lawyers Association (VTLA), American Bar Association, Association of Trial
Lawyers of America, and the Chesterfield-Colonial Heights Bar Association. Cheryl is an
extremely active member of the VTLA. She has served on the VTLA's Young Lawyers Section
and VTLA's Membership Committee, where she has been in charge of the VTLA Brief Bank for
at least three years. Currently, Cheryl is serving on the following committees with VTLA:
(1) Medical Malpractice Legislative Sub-Committee, where she is serving as Vice-Chair of
the committee; (2) Membership Committee, where she is continuing to be in charge of the
VTLA Brief Bank; and (3) Web-Site Committee. Cheryl resides in Chesterfield County with
her husband, Charles, and her three children, Amanda, Bryant and Stephanie.
